The paper presents the use of thermography to evaluate the thermal insulation
of public buildings. Some issues related to temperature measurements, especially
thermography using infrared radiation, are discussed. The principles of operating
a thermographic camera with indication of the factors affecting the accuracy of the
measurements are presented. On the basis of the conducted measurements, the causes
of excessive heat loss and the possibility of improving the performance of the tested
structures are specified.
