ABSTRACT
The facades of buildings constituting the outer shell external wall with a layer of
air ventilated, are more widely used, as in the case of new buildings, which the modernization
of existing facilities. The distinctive feature of these systems is the use of
mechanical fasteners, thermal insulation piercing, which point thermal bridges.
Thermal bridges are often made of aluminum, radically increases the loss of heat
transmitted by this kind of barrier construction. The impact of these point thermal
bridges is not entirely accurately and properly taken into account in the calculation
of thermal insulation throughout the building partition. The article analyzes the impact
of mechanical fasteners systems ventilated facade insulation on the external
partition. Drew attention to the directions of the search for new solutions to material
and design of this type of envelope.
